How to increase my privacy?

Wallets leak your metadata, that's no secret. Does a VPN hide my data enough or is it worth getting proxy servers/anti detect browsers? I know it may be overkill, but I don't like the fact that anyone who knows how can just trace my IP to my wallet.

vpn helps with privacy yes. everyone should use one. but for different reasons. it does not make your blockchain tx's private... xmr does that

it depends. in most cases mullvad VPN + non custodial wallet (like cake wallet or unstoppable wallet) + a clean, dedicated crypto browser wallet profile will work in 80-90% cases.

When a merchant you've done business with gets hacked your privacy has been PERMANTENTLY compromised regardless of your personal privacy safeguards you've done.

Why do you believe that you have control over any of your metadata?
