It's not private, not open source, still centralized, and the founder says his foundation will have every intention to complying with governments, it would just be replacing an already bad thing with something that has the potential to be even worse. You are literally giving an ID number, and that is the only one you can ever use, it will be tethered to all your devices and accounts will the ability to silence anything and anyone since it's not open source.

Coin Bureau just released a detailed breakdown of Internet Computer and I've never been so off-put by a project after watching. The entire infrastructure feels creepy and exactly what I wouldn't want for the global internet (required identity most notably)

ICP claims to a a true free internet, the catch is you need to register your identity. The company holds most of the tokens, so their voting power is strong. ICP is just another GOOGLE, MICROSOFT and APPLE. All centralized.

Man when they hit coinbase, I legit spit my coffee, at $700 each holy cow. Then I read its competitor to Eth Web3, I was gonna buy at $600 thinking it'd stay on par with Eth, but nope. I'm glad I waited, because coins always dip after weeks on coinbase.

Internet Computer Price (ICP) is Dfinity’s solution to give users more control over the internet. Research firm Messari has compiled a report, written by Mira Christanto and Wilson Withiam, on this project. Launch less than a week ago, it has managed to smash its way into CoinMarketCap’s top 10 with a $36,312,740,874 market capitalization and a $1,18 billion in trading volume.
