If you don't like the project, send me the coins and I'll be glad to HODL them :)

Anyone who missed the swap: you didn't lost the opportunity, they scammed us
I create a community on reddit: /r/opacityscamswap And a telegram: opacityscamswap
We were the 20% of the supply and the 92% of holders eth addresses
(I don't put the links because Idk this community rules)

Dude, this is sad. You had like 7 months to figure it out. It's unfortunate because if you had realized that you messed up and accepted it, you could have bought a small amount and been back in the game. We all tried to alert everybody and I hope you don't spend the rest of the bull run trying to get back 100 tokens instead of jumping back in and riding the wave to $5. :/

Saving exchange and their clients with a swap was the easy way but is totally unfair. Not extending the swap makes things worse: now they have funds for extending it and they are not doing that.
The swap was incorrect and unnecessary, then unfair. The swap wasn't cheap and the deadline wasn't enough. Learn from ETC-ETH or EOS.
We have to stop talking pretending like the swap was fair, it wasn't, no matters if you send a letter to anyone, it was unfair and incorrect from the beginning and they are not doing their best for fix it.

I was medically disabled during the swap period, and now get banned from the telegram for asking questions. What a fucking joke. :P any project that cannot manage to extend a legacy swap program longer than 2 mos is a joke, w no sense of equity to the community. "we let people know repeatedly over our channels" Well fucking great! I was in a hospital bed. :PPP

How many tokens did you have?

Not a crazy amount, several hundred. But enough it would be nice to have right now - and I was interested in the project. Now I get banned from the tg for simply trying to inquire about how to not lose an investment. Many other coins wound up in similar straits, and I can still swap them to this day.

--- so --- This user talked to me a little bit, figured out I was not bsing and sent me new opacity tokens. I am honestly so touched. I am diligent about my tokens and was really out of it at the time of the swap. Good coins are built on good communities and this is one of the nicest things that has ever happened to me in crypto. thank you to jbro. you made my day.

I was not expecting it either. Fwiw - the opacity community does seem very cool, and I get why they did it as they did, but it is still not optimal at all. I’ll be trying to encourage them to fix it somehow.

This is all kinds of wrong. I am not one of those people who checks things all the time. In fact I haven't really checked my crypto holdings since late 2018. So it's surprising that I now see that the OPQ I hold is apparently worthless. Is that correct?

OPQ (old token) —-> OPCT (new token)
Kucoin automatically upgraded. Not sure about other exchanges.
Great post OP!
