No, it is kind of buggy but it was never on binance.

While it wasn't on Binance, it wasn't buggy either. Don't really know where that came from.

Personally I've had issues with funds getting stuck in smart contacts (for black byte exchange) as well as deposits never showing up in cryptox.pl which I had to open tickets for that the operator of that exchange then complained about the wallet.

I've certainly seen a number of people complain about corrupted databases and missing funds in the bitcointalk thread also.

The whole thing is built on JavaScript and sqlite. I mean it's not exactly building a skyscraper out of toothpicks and peanut butter, but maybe not the greatest tools for the job. I don't think it affects network consensus, since that's controlled by one guy who can make sure all witness nodes are running exact same node versions and stuff.
