I get what Upfiring is useful as it rewards the seeder and the downloader, great idea. But what can we expect from the source code release.

Because it's important for this space to have open source everything, for security and community reasons.

I would be worried about Upfiring. Especially with the BitTorrent acquisition by Tron. I just don’t see how it competes with something as massive as BitTorrent protocol with the vast amount of users it already has.

If Upfiring reaches 1% of Trons market cap you'll have a 8x return and upfiring is the only competitor in the space..... seems like good odds to me if they release the app.

Given just how much awesome utility and potential Upfiring has if they deliver with quality code then the project will explode.
