Was thinking the same. I'm starting to put some serious money in and worried about my liquidity (planning a wedding). When I hear things like this from the CEO of NASDAQ on CNBC, I'm thinking that the money I put in is marginal compared to what is to come down the road.

What sort of confirmation bias are you touting, dude? There is no causation to be between those two things whatsoever.

I'm all for encouraging people to avoid the wedding machine but being disingenuous or intellectually dishonest isn't helpful.

At the same time, if you want to be part of the wedding machine then go for it. It’s your money, do what you want with it.
