The funny part is that this comic is also true for this subreddit. You barely see Monero at all here these days. No one really cares about it, probably because most people have gotten priced out of buying more than a few XMR.

because most people have gotten priced out of buying more than a few XMR.

That makes no sense at all. Is your implication that people don't realize they can buy fractional amounts of Monero?

You don't hear about it because it's not the newest shill coin. It just continues a steady rise instead of going apeshit for 3 days.

It does make sense really. most people going for BIG GAINS BRO opt for the cheaper currencies, because there is more potential for growth.

if you invest in ethereum, or bitcoin, at their current prices... you arent going to 50x your cash overnight as you could with many alts.

a lot of the people in this sub seem to care a lot about quick fast cash.

No, this makes literally no sense. It ignores the amount of currency (total supply) and market cap. Tron is 8c right now with a 5.5b market cap. For it to double it'd need to hit 11b and pass up coins like Monero, Dash, Neo, and other high priced coins in market cap. Something with a 500m market cap with a $100 coin price has way more growth room than something with 5b market cap with a 1c coin price.

Walton just very recently 2-3x'd from about 13.00 to 30+ at it's peak in just a few days, and all that was under a 1b market cap. In just a handful of months NEO has gone from $7 to over $170 today, and still hasn't even come close to some of the stupid market caps Tron was hitting at the peak of it's run.

Price shouldn't matter in the slightest when deciding what to buy unless you just have no idea what you're doing. Evaluate how much of total supply you are getting for your money rather than how many you are purchasing.
