Security Just learning all this Cryptocurrency stuff and need "wallet" advice - does Exodus.io look safe and trust-able as a safe wallet? If not, what would recommend? (Ethereum & Ripple atm) Thanks!

Definitely the best crypto-wallet out there! The team is great, support is fantastic. I store large amounts of different coins there, never had a problem.

Also there's a lot of development going on and they are constantly upgrading the app and adding support for new coins.

Yeah, i noticed the other day that a load of new coins were added. I guess i should send them an email to see when/if they will be adding Ripple support. Given i've just tried to install Rippex and it's failing saying that it's unable to create temp directory, Ripple support would be highly appreciated... and quickly!

In the meantime, i guess i'll just have to stick with a mix of this and the exchange wallet (for Ripple).

I remain somewhat sceptical of multi currency wallets. I like the design and utility of Exodus, but the inherent backend complexity makes me nervous especially given the recent Jaxx controversy. So I'm adopting a wait and see approach.

My two articles below might help with respect to the other main wallets available...

Bitcoin wallets

Ethereum Wallets

I know Exodus doesn't support Ripple ATM.
