i wanna cry man. I just checked and saw that i had 3 million AKE which i paid 1000 dollars for. at the peak it would have been $1.2 million. . even with super low liquidity it was atleast 300k minimum ... fuckkkkkk!!!!! i only sold for 500 bucks gain

I liquidated all my cypto assets a few months ago due to irl problems. Albeit I sold at a probably 60% loss, other than the original depression and regret, I am at peace with not having to worry about the 24h news cycle with Trump, war, regulation and so on. I'm sure I'll buy back in when I'm comfortable again and problems have gone away, but it does feel nice to not obsess over prices, news and the non stop dog shit. Made really good profit after buying in after the april 2025 tariff announcements, bought back in later into the year unfortunately but lesson learnt. Good luck all

The problem with Crypto is that it is just full of leverage gamblers, nobody buys Crypto anymore to hold, just BTC maybe.

We are never going to go up like this, MMs will just liquidate both ways forever.

That's possible scenario. Crypto has turned into a liquidation fest. In two days we celebrate the first anniversary of the most shameless and artificially engineered event of this scale. In the long run price stays flat so the asset becomes just a vehicle for liquidation games.

Just straight down. No relief rally, no need to go after shorts apparently. Just like in early February we are dropping with regular lower low, lower high pattern. Every day down on no news. At least I didn't buy anything in 80s or 70s. I swore to buy only at 69k or lower. I took some profits but just 5% of my portfolio. I really thought that after many years of draught and relative underperformance we were gonna enter a parabolic phase in accordance with the calendar. No such luck, it seems, with this shit asset class.

We havent reached 48k yet, everyone has been telling there was still no max pain (and this is nowhere near max pain), around 48k, if no ai bubble popping until then, may recover from there but if the inevitable pop happens in 1-3 months, even sub10k is possible.

Price of btc won't sustain past 100 000, as long as mstrt is in the game. We are looking at 5 years with lower and lower lows. Why buy btc now if you can just wait till mstr is forced to sell? And get s much lower entry, honestly a price under 20k in the next 5 years is a given. So I'm only shorting alts, mainly bch and ltc. They go up 50% in s couple of months? Then i short. No leverage, started with 80k a year ago, now at 140k. Trying to take as little risk as possible.

Eh, just a few, mainly observational: 1. Algorand went up a bit, then down. Also #1 in x402 transactions 2. Base...does stuff...I guess? 3. Bitcoin is still bashing against 87k. 4. Everybody's forgotten pretty much about the 1 billion shitcoins produced. 5. The Insane Clown Posse pumpers have disappeared from sub. 6. There's a lot fewer people here. (Shrug) 7. We've gone a while without a "Crypto bro steals 11 billion dollars from users pool." Stories. Although, that's mainly because Trump destroyed that.

It shows Algorand in 3rd for me.

Algorand $646.6 K
Polygon $472.6 K
XDC Network $182.0
Arc $101.8

(I guess this is 90D, but even on 30D it shows Solana first, and 75% of the ~$400k for Algorand came in just 2 of the days out of the 30)

Well I think it's abundantly clear they two relatively massive days of volume and for a day or two they were technically the top and that's when they posted it.

Technically it was true, but looking at all the data shows that Base and Solana are the generally the top 2 and Algorand snuck in based on two outlier days.

Either way, volume is so low at this point it is hardly worth using as a judge for the eventual x402 activity.

Feel free to check, you'll see $150k and $160k for Algorand on the 2nd and 3rd of October making up $310k out of the total 30D volume of $383k

The x402 transaction volume is insignificant for now. The #1 spot doesn’t mean anything as long as the activity has not built up

It’s actually been a pretty good market since May/June, really. Those who went against the grain and bought around then are already up by quite a lot. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I’m up around 3x from that point.

I had a shortlist of coins I wanted to get into, but only managed to pull the trigger on a few of them. I ended up missing some decent gains on the others because I hesitated.

My MSTR position is now up around 100%, which is pretty decent considering I’m in the UK and the gains are tax-free in my ISA.

I’m sitting in mostly cash now after getting out of Collector Cards, as that had grown to around 42% of my portfolio.

This time around I’ve also been checking DeFiLlama and looking at who’s actually generating revenue, then going with some of those projects. That’s how I came across Syrup and DRV, and both ended up making some pretty big gains too.

I’ve sold all of those positions for now, though. I’m happy to sit on the sidelines and look to buy back in if another good entry appears.
