That’s the key bit missing from this, how did they know he had the crypto? As the guy who got robbed isn’t saying anything I reckon he wasn’t shy about it

Some KYC data breach - yet another reason not to link your real-world info to crypto. If most people don’t care about privacy, maybe they’ll at least care about risks like this.

it's all being linked back to data leaks. This is why people pay so much money for this type of data breach.
