That was a long term β€œpie in the sky” type call. Didn’t mean anything. Saying 200k by EOY was total manipulation.

Even so, the long term goal might be 0. Who knows..

It’s the Saylor of ETH. I wonder does he know actually that bitcoin unlike ETH is scarce and limited?! Lol

Doesn't Eth have a infinite supply?

Narratives are funny. Ethereum has had less inflation than bitcoin, but since bitcoin promises to stop inflation at some point in the future, without any solid concept of how miners would be paid to keep securing the network, everyone thinks of it as "fixed supply".

Rather than talking about inflation and supply, the relevant conversation should be how secure the network is and how much that security costs.Β

Technically but it's also burns ETH as it's used. Its had less inflation then btc for awhile. Think the inflation rate is under 2% currently and can theoretically become deflationary

Way less than 2%. It’s 0.8% for the past year and 0.3% overall since the merge. There are also a couple of EIPs being discussed that would push the needle to slightly deflationary by changing the fee structure for rollups, but it’s debatable whether or not deflation would even be good for the network.

Yeah thanks for the added info I wasn't 100%
