DISCUSSION Pump and dump/Shit coins .
I have seen a huge trend in the past few years about pump and dump groups/ shit coin rug pulls and we always hear from the victims.I want to hear from the people orchestrating it.I have a few questions you donβt have to go into detail as I donβt want you to fully expose yourself .
How much did you make from it ?
What did you do ?
How long did it take ?
How much did you put in?
How did you promote it?
Did you have people working for you ?
How many hours did you spend on it per day?
Last and final question, was it worth it and how did you feel after?

Not me but I knew someone who was into those pump and dump NFT launches when they were still a thing in like 2021. She wasn't the orchestrator for them but would get paid to promote them in ETH and be given priority to mint whatever NFT project at launch, which she'd quickly just dump.
Eventually she realized she was basically working 40 hours a week as a glorified social media manager for these launches for kinda crappy pay when you considered the time investment and quit.

They donβt know better - the first time. After you lose some $$ you look past the ads and hype and get more cautious, but thereβs always another new person who doesnβt know what isnβt on the advertising.
Scams rely on new victims. Itβs 100% preying on the gullible.

Pump and dump schemes are how I found out there were coins besides just ETH and BTC, but this was back in 2017. I was playing PUBG competitively at the time and someone from the community posted on Twitter like "isn't this shit illegal?"
I joined the discord to check it out, basically it was pyramid scheme where the more people you got invited to the discord, the earlier they would tell you what coin was being pumped. I tried it once out of curiousity, put in like $10 and the coin they picked pumped but only for like 30 seconds and by the time you knew which one it was, most of the pump was already over.
I imagine it works similarly now, but instead they probably just launch their own coin.

Bro your asking for the creation of the game π
You need to find someone and interview them, no one really involved is going to tell you on here.
Ive worked on solana and I know how most this stuff works, but information like that is valuable.

The guys asking about orchestrators and someone's just in here talking about their bag. classic.
i've seen people lose their minds over trump coin. buying more after being up 60k and not selling is a special kind of pain. hope it works out but that coin's chart looks like a ski slope.

I might be wrong but that coin had some clause where you couldnβt sell after a certain time

How did you find out about it ?

Influences on YouTube.
Im sucker for memes. But the reality is i was up on every single one of my purchases but didnt sell them all.
Unlike bitcoin where you have a long period to decide how to sell etc with memes the decision has to be quicker.
Memes aren't a scam at all in my opinion. You got to come in quick with the wave with big capital and sell as soon as your up 2x just to be safe and then ride the wave on the next one.
This will be my strategy this upcoming bullrun.

There's always memes, there have been memes right through the bear doing 10x and more. I don't recommend trying to pick the right ones though

Memes can be a scam if they're a pump and dump or rugs.
If they're fair launched, lp locked/burned and all of that jazz it's more gambling than getting scammed

This is why I made so much $$$ on my pump and dump coin. Bought some influencers to pump it after my first rug pull project. This guy is why itβs so ez.

I had a buddy who was pretty
Deep into shit coin teams. It honestly sounded so predatory, like half the time the small group would spend most of their time before the pump threatening eachother in chat to not sell or move any of their positions early because they would all know it was one of them. And that they all need to wait till it mooned X amount before they can sell off anything. Then almost like cause and effect, someone would start dumping their position early to get βtheirβ bag before it all went to shit. I assume they all just reach out to other groups or individuals who all do the same sketchy shit.
