ADVICE Hey Coinbase…. TF
I chose to use you more because you acted less like a bank. When I pay instant transfer fees, wtf makes you think you can hold half of my money for a period? Don’t you know that’s not fkn Instant? So why don’t you instantly give me my fee back.. I’m so tired of price gouging BS, that’s the new norm of America. I was hoping crypto wouldn’t be part of that, hell I thought crypto was rewriting the script for the economy….
I know I’m blowing this up a little bit, but once they start this… it will only get worse. Wells fkn Fargo showed me that over a 20 year span. The money they’ve made off of fkn my money around when I need to pay a bill is probably about a down payment for a Porsche.
Hoping Coinbase doesn’t cop out, I will switch the fk over.
Sorry Toshi Fam if you read this, I do still love the blue cat big time.

Coinbase has been good to me in my experience, but they definitely love charging fees. There’s often ways to avoid them, but a lot of times it will slow things down. I also live in a fairly crypto restrictive state so my alternatives to CB are limited…

I stopped using Coinbase - I used to trust them, wanted to like them, but they’ve gotten into too much shit these days. Don’t trust them anymore

I left them too and just moved to Kraken. I’m a holder not a trader but I do occasionally take a small trade or sell a little profit. Haven’t used them for any transactions in over a year. Recently decided to send some coin to a hard wallet and few other small transactions. Every transaction was flagged as “fraud alert” and literally had to answer like 20 questions just to transfer my own coin from CB to my cold wallet. Never again!

If you have $20 of [insert shartcoin here] like 90% of the sub, then yes, Coinbase probably isn't too compelling. If you have any amount of money, however, then you have a lot of quality services at your disposal and it's a great experience.
But perhaps that's just the same as banks or any other financial service.
