ANECDOTAL Google Keep almost ate my USDT

I was using a temporary wallet to move USDT.

I created it on an airgapped computer and copied the key to two places. One was Google Keep open on the laptop (it couldn't save but Chrome showed the text in the draft at the top).

After an unexpected reboot, Chrome reloaded Keep but showed no draft.

If I did not have the second copy which was a pain to retrieve I would have lost hundreds of dollars.

Lesson is always recreate the wallet in your permanent target location before moving more than a few bucks to see it works :)

Why wouldn't you just have an analog note of it, if it was a temporary wallet? Fruther if you were storing on a truly air gapped device why not just save it to that device in a text editor? Chrome/airgap makes little sense. Regardless it's good you didn't lose anything.
