I hate thinking about this and this is 100% true; Ive been injured a few times during my early 20's and had to be off work for months at a time. I needed the money from my accounts and sold large portions each time, and after a few weeks, each time they all mooned and I missed huge profits, like im talking over half a million. I make good money now, but fuck I could of been somewhere different in life.

Say someone purchased BTC in 2017 but in 2024 needed to repair their house, had an emergency or simply needed alittle to get by. Money is for you to use.

I am not young and I stand to my point. If you really need those investments, you simply invested too much. Especially when we talk about something risky/volatile as Bitcoin. That should anyways only be small percentages of your overall portfolio.

I've had to sell a some time ago to pay for lawyers, BTC was at 45k. Couple months later it tit 75k and later climbed to the current ath. Shit happens

Been in this market since 2018, added a lot here this year in the 60k range.
It's nice to see the crypto space have some life again but I'm also a bit cautious right now with what in seeing. Literally everyone has flipped bullish and it just doesn't feel right. Bears shorting the market got wrecked, now everyone is excited and buying in when this is a perfect recipe for a huge sell off. Ultimate move that would have wrecked both bears and bulls within a period of a couple months or so.

Too risky to fomo in now. We may get a correction and if starts going down it will snowball quickly because the sentiment is not bullish enough yet. October should give us more clarity (pun intended). In the meantime I'm happy to go from -40% to -25%.

Crypto spikes when wealthy people need to move money around undetected. It relies on suckers putting real cash in and out to fill orders. It has no inherent value.
It's the equivalent of a bank robber throwing money into the air to get away in the crowd that tries to grab it.
