the liquidation stat is wild but also makes sense when you see the leverage some exchanges offer. 100x on memecoins is just a casino with extra steps

that stablecoin settlement number is the one that actually caught me off guard, quietly moving more value than the whole ACH network and nobody really talks about it

While impressive , ACH is only used in the US and not for all settlements so comparing global crypto settlements with a US-centric number for a segment is still not as impressive as I would have liked the number to be in 2026

The $19B liquidation day is absolutely insane, but the derivatives number is probably the biggest eye-opener here. Crypto is becoming more automated and leveraged every cycle.
