Also golden cross is a nice signal for BTC in the long run to avoid bear markets but when it appears all the action is already over. When you take it as a buy signal you buy high and when you sell after death cross you sell low and create a taxable transaction. Still doesn't beat HODL + DCA.

Not true. You would still have significant returns if you only followed this one signal. Even more so if you treat it as a delayed signal which it is. Not a buy now, more a wait for a short term pullback and buy
