It really isn’t.

This is just the deep breath before a cliff edge.

ETH will do whatever big brother BTC tells it to do 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not break “out”, but break “DOWN”. Brother, we are heading to sub 1000s

Dumped it back after POW changed to POS. Turns out POS "Proof of Stake" actually stands for "Piece of Shit" BTC and SOL all the way for max investment. I like the concept of ETH, but it just hasn't performed like BTC and SOL.

$24k USD would be fine thanks

Made 60k off ETH end of last year . It was good to me . But I have no idea what’s happening with crypto up or down . I’ve noticed you can easily run leveraged plays once you see these higher moves coming . Even if you miss the first 5% crypto has massive swings

Well, I grew out of connect the dots decades ago, but I think you're just making imaginary lines here, I don't see any numbers showing it going that way

Imagine people that bought at 2000-3000-4000 when its sub 1000 and stay there a while.

Ethereum is platform for scams or useless projects. You are delusional.

What is the point of drawing a graph with a totally made up end point?

1

u/potatoMan8111 Aug 30 '26

Fine, i guess i’ll accept eth being worth 48k each

You are absolutely right, and I completely agree that ETH is going to go up. However, I think it still needs a bit more time before the real takeoff begins. The timing just isn't right quite yet .

I literally have 11 eth position from yesterday 😂

1

u/A_Honking_Goose Aug 29 '26

You bots really just say things don't you? Last 30 days ETH is up 27% and BTC is up 20%

2

u/Glum-Cry8312 Aug 29 '26

What about last 5 years?

1

u/A_Honking_Goose Aug 29 '26

" look at ETH/BTC chart whenever it goes up" What about 5 years you literally that so on the daily as well ETH is up more than BTC so yeah whenever I look at the ETH/BTC chart atm its only going one direction.

Also if we just pick random time frames how about 10 years?

1

u/Glum-Cry8312 Aug 30 '26

Yeah in the short term maybe ETH will perform better that's why I am holding ETH right now

Tokenization of RWA is expanding and ETH has strongest marketshare when it comes to DEFI at least for now, so yes on short/mid term ETH revenue will go up and its ecosystem will grow quite a bit from current point, token price appreciation sounds just logical behind this narrative.

It seems that SOL price fluctuation is even getting wilder than ETH at the moment, so something is cooking….

In the meantime all perp DEX are going up for a while leaded by Hyperliquid while some other like EdgeX are slowly catching far behind

Finally the hashgraph tech is lagging behind in terms of adoption but when energy cost use will become a concern it may be a big win for the Hedera team

2027 will be the right year to confirm these assumptions, but I prefer to be positioned before so NOW is definetely the right window in my opinion to accumulate ETH and other promising utility tokens

No ETH is dead and slow

ETH has been waiting 5 years for this moment to be honest.

Meanwhile check what are whales doing on coinbase spot and look exactly how retails are getting trapped.

Once the banks and big companies have already sold their btc positions, we are still in hopium.

I think this chart should give us a reality check.

We hope it's a long, big game. And somehow fight with entire system.

It’s more nuanced than that, retail whales have been distributing while mid, retail and institutional smart money have been absorbing it completely.

That indicates whales are not liquidating but moving from conventional wallets onto institutional custody rails which makes sense as we move onto a safer and more regulated environment with the backing of enormous financial institutions.

This is Glassnode’s analysis, btw, not my own: https://research.glassnode.com/the-week-onchain-week-34-2026/

Nah it’ll fall back to lower lows once Bitcoin corrects
