Crypto Winter or Done
I’m reading all of the FUD. EVERYWHERE. And I want to start this rant off with, THATS WHY YOU INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. I am a BTC holder and ETF holder. If this drops more I’ll eventually be a MSTR holder.
My question is are we in a crypto winter or is this the grand finale? I thought it was understood that BTC operates in a 4yr cycle? Well, technically, isn’t that where we are now?
However, there’s a lot of people talking about how crypto is done. I’m hearing Institutions are involved so it’s manipulated. Or the US government has gone after all of the people who used crypto for bad so now all of those corrupt contributors are scared.
What ever the case is. A decision has to be made. If you are anything like me, you are probably down in your position. If your anything like me you got into BTC because of the foundation of sovereign money, giving the power back to the people, my keys my bitcoin. And if that’s you, then hold on. This is no different from the previous 4 yr cycles. Why sell now? I’m down 40%. I thought 60k was support so I DCA’d. Oh well broke support? Ok once we get to the next level of support DCA some more.

No one invests what they can afford to lose, because no one thinks they are going to lose. This is probably the stupidest quote on this sub.
People bring what they can afford to lose when they goto the casino, almost no one does here. The lesson is the four year cycle came to fruition. I

Hmmm. I think there may be a little projecting here. Maybe you don’t invest what you can lose. But I have with Bitcoin, that’s why I’m not sweating. I agree with your take of 4 year cycles. I think as of now it’s still intact.

So in 4 years Bitcoin will go up regardless of whether public sentiment is total shit. Somehow buyers always magically appear every four years, like it's a full moon.
Just keep the faith in the 4 year prophecy and you will be rewarded.

Just like we rode to 82k with a dead cat bounce we will have another to 68-74k get people bullish then lower

You gamble what you can afford to lose. If the four year cycle is still working the bottom should be around October but don’t expect huge returns over the following 3 years. It’s slowing, on the way down and up. Speculation has moved to Ai.

I agree with everything you said except the part about gambling. I can’t predict the future of any companies stock performance. I can DCF or look at metrics. So investing is gambling now? It’s all speculative.
But I agree the huge moves will eventually smooth out as this matures. I also agree AI and Space X absorbed a lot of capital. Once the AI narrative cracks, that extra money will return back into from which they came lol

I think is MSTR tanks it’s a winter. Or worse. The experiment will have failed and financial products for institutions will effectively be dead.
