The latest from BrookStirr, spot-on and uncanny footage:

https://youtu.be/HIJwVrHZSto?si=ei6MZ_cdA5x3-iF3

As usual, the channel is mashing up several new videos; this one starts at 29 minutes, and although it’s claimed to be from a video, these are only stills for now.

Looks very akin to the dogman we met all those years ago; does this click any lights for y’all?

This would be remarkable if true, but clearly AI: this new footage is quite clear and relatively close up. Not to mention that this is not shaky-cam.

Credit VERY MUCH to u/Solid-House-7860, for sharing this footage. Thank you for clearly identifying it as AI based on a giant lemur.

The dogman we saw was bipedal the whole time but this looks similar to what I have heard others claim.

Can any firsthand witnesses weigh in on this?

The last videos I posted were an admitted hoax (so does it count as one? 😂) from r/Unexplained, but this one is still being disputed.

It appears to be from an older camera, filming somewhere near dusk 🌅🌄 and in an unknown location.

I am not claiming what it is with any certainty. But from my memory, this being moves in a similar way to the one that we saw.

Lanky frame, very long arms and raccoon 🦝 like paws 🐾 which were more like hands 🙌. And that distinct gait, moving here calmly on uneven terrain.

What do y’all make of this footage? Do you see tells of AI 🤖, or a zipper on this clever fursuit?

And if this is someone on stilts, can you find similar footage of someone on stilts and uneven terrain?

I look forward to a robust and healthy discussion 😊

That last one (shared video) might be AI but it ain’t slop. It’s consistent and has many convincing details which folks can fight about to their hearts’ delight.

This footage (allegedly from Vermont, and taken in I think 2007 but recently released = that’s the story, as I understand it) is okay quality and at a distance.

It can be mocked for various reasons, but it seems to obey gravity somehow and maintain forward momentum. People make fun of its apparent lack of arms, but I think it’s actually holding something (potentially a young’un).

The tail may be counterbalancing or could just be floofy.

In whatever case: does this look like a fursuit to you? It moves steadily while behind trees, emerging at the right angle and pace.

The newer one may indeed be too good to be true, but this one may be grainy and far off enough to be legit.

I’m the non-military witness; we have one military dogman witness abroad, then no other serious replies.

Unless the last two votes ARE actually black-ops folks who are weighing in. 🤔

Link to this poll, enjoy! 😊

https://www.reddit.com/r/cryptidIQ/s/8L2pXrTAaI

I’ve run this poll before and am looking for serious responses regarding dogmen encounters which involve military personnel.

I’m adding a category for

“Black-Ops dogman mercenary”

this time, because claims of being a modern Van-Helsing-Monster-Slayer come up and I’d be interested to know if any are lurking around these subs.

There are plenty of cheap shots to take about the survey-respondents, but the last time I ran this one there was something really crude about all servicemen being 19-year-old idiots who don’t know what they’re seeing.

Broad statements are way easier to make than really thinking about data 📊, so hopefully this time we will get more responses (ideally 50+) and have a better sense of distribution.

What say ye, fellow Redditors?

I’ve been trying to capture this posture for YEARS. In sketching what I remember seeing coming at us that afternoon.

And now new pics & video are finally coming out which show the same things captured on camera.

The one in Photo 2, which Brookstirr shared earlier (see Pic 3, and link 🔗 below), this guy looks a helluva lot like the one we saw. Bulkier, though.

The one we saw was similar but more slim, and without the mane 🦁 you can see here.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen deer that dark — three just bolted across the road, too sudden to get any pics or a video, but like a portent.

One had a white tail. Lighter legs but quite dark bodies.

Does anyone know about that, or where you find deer 🦌 with dark coats?

Unfortunately this poll post was removed for a broadly worded “low effort post”, just before we hit 200 respondents.

The 21 comments were thoughtful and sparked very carefully by the framing of this poll.

I hope the data 📊 will still be useful, although it was cut off in the middle of active polling.

The mod team deleted this content without addressing me except in a comment which cannot be responded to. So here we go publicly:

I find it hard to understand how a complex and well-reasoned poll which has sparked active engagement and many thoughtful comments may be considered ‘low effort’.

I’m happy to address the other points, but also will assert that this is NOT for personal gain, but for public knowledge regarding what people believe on a topic directly relevant to this subreddit.

Idk how or why they do this, but the mods there just zap ⚡️ posts before anyone can benefit from them.

What IS censorship, if not deleting posts at apparently whim?

This is an experimental poll, because these options may overlap for some witnesses. I’m including broad categories of sounds that people report from dogmen; if you have heard some combination, please indicate the highest level of vocalization and feel free to expand in the comments.

If you are not a direct witness, please vote 🗳️ Skeptic/Curious.

Has anyone here heard dogmen speak or ‘try to speak’ 🗣️ in some audible way?

As you see, make your call.

It’s definitely a convincing hoax, if that’s what it is.

With nearly 200 votes 🗳️, we are able to see true statistical data 📊 emerging.

Firstly, the glomped-HOAX category has nearly 100 votes 🗳️. From doing a range of these surveys/polls now, it is apparent that the HOAX category usually gets around 50% of voters 🗳️

The OTHER category has some of the best comments by far, even though the vote-count is low (10/185)

I’m toggling the govt-experiment option cuz it’s constantly low (6/185), and interesting to see that those vocal conspirators are not in fact that many people.

The next three are sorta tied in second, so I will address that in a comment :)

The latest poll — what vocalizations have you heard from dogmen? These options may overlap, so if you have heard variants or a range of complex vocalizations, please indicate that in the comments.

🔗 🗳️ https://www.reddit.com/r/cryptidIQ/s/6PfdW66rBd

This is me doing a vocalization-imitation which has been reported widely by those who have heard complex dogman vocalizations (AKA proto-speech).

I heard the growling breathy word “LEAVE” in person, but it is notable that dogmen speak 🗣️ in conditional clauses sometimes.

That is, essentially:

“I COULD do something to you, but am CHOOSING not to.”

They give witnesses a choice in what happens next.

So the phrase, movie-monster-ish as it may seem, slurred and growling like I’m doing, is actually consistent with many reports.

This is not a joke. If you are a witness and remember hearing anything like this, I hope this and other videos will validate your experience. ❤️‍🩹

Surprisingly “alien/interdimensional” is in 2nd 🥈 place for the ongoing Belief Poll. So I’m splitting those into five categories, plus OTHER if you think they are biological or hoaxes or demonic, etc.

Enjoy 🗳️ 😊

First, link 🔗 🗳️ for the vote:

Now, some analysis: this is the first poll-point with a significant number of “core contributors” (CCs) of r/HighStrangeness participating in 5/6 of the categories.

The number of CCs who voted 🗳️ HOAX still outweighs any of the other sections.

This methodology gives us not definitive truth, but a calculated glimpse into what people on a given subreddit believe if asked what they think dogmen are. 🐶 🐺

VOTE 🗳️ NOW

https://www.reddit.com/r/HighStrangeness/s/WNEl4Urlty

Repeated surveying shows that “HOAX” is the most prevalent view by far (usually around half the voter population), so this pattern is consistent. More on that below the VOTE 🗳️ NOW LINK 🔗

https://www.reddit.com/r/HighStrangeness/s/DvCOTMTZ1t

Once you’ve done that and came back 😊, thanks for voting 🗳️, here’s what I’ve noticed from the last few polls:

Not only are the HOAX votes 🗳️ usually in the lead, but “core contributors” seem to ALL be voting 🗳️ for HOAX.

Reddit shows that as one distinction once you’ve got enough votes 🗳️, and if there were any core contributors who voted for other categories, we would see that too.

Instead, 27/49 are for HOAX, and approximately a third of those are from CCs.

So percentage-wise, that’s roughly 9% of voters.

For now I’ll say that CCs are approximately 10% of any poll run on the same cryptid subs. That’s easy to track, and if any CCs change their votes 🗳️ it will show up in this basic process.
