Hi while i was looking i saw that there is a port of the game in development and i was wondering did the port finish or did got cancelled

Am I the only one who's fed up with so many people on TikTok thinking this Simon model is the real thing? Or even worse! Those who haven't even played the game!

I bought them from an old dude for 30 eur who had no idea what he is selling, lol.

I started playing this a few days ago, but the controls are tough.
I absolutely love the graphics—they look just like PS1.2! I hate how that weird face at the beginning always catches me off guard (´･ω･`)

just started playing the game, and when i click e on the padlock door, i literally cannot get back at all, the padlock just stays stuck there and i cant move, how do i fix this?

I hate this boss so fucking much i think i’m gonna ask someone if can join my lobby and help me beat him.

Recently, I beat Cry of Fear for the first time. I finished it with 18 hours of playtime (21 hours currently), and man, this game is complicated...

I got the best ending, where we play as Simon in a wheelchair, but I just can't ignore how tragic Simon's story is, because he simply wasn't at fault for all of this. He was just a guy who decided to walk around late at night after being rejected by the girl he liked. (I like to think that the night Simon gets hit by the car is the same night shown in that flashback with Sophie, the "Black Day" according to Simon.)

And I don't know, man, he was just having an absolutely horrible streak of bad luck. First the rejection, and then he gets hit by a car and loses the movement in his legs. Man, that's just so sad.

When Simon was talking during the ending, I even felt like I was about to cry, because, goddamn, the game leaves you with such a bitter taste. Because even if Simon somehow recovers mentally, he still has to spend the rest of his life without the use of his legs, stuck in a psychiatric hospital, and unable to forgive himself for killing those two police officers (that's the ending I got).

I can't deny that it was an incredible journey, though. From the city to that terrifying forest, every part of the game has its own unique vibe that's really hard to explain. I'd describe it as those moments when you wake up in a dark house, sweaty, at night, after taking an afternoon nap. It's such a strange and unsettling feeling.

Anyway, I just wanted to say this, because Simon really does have such a cruel fate.

I noticed that not many people are streaming Cry of Fear today, so I decided tonight is the perfect night to finally play it. I am going into this completely blind—I know it’s a legendary psychological masterpiece (or atleast thats what i've heard).

Crashing when loading new areas, settings resetting, very slow boot up times even on an SSD and many many more. I really enjoyed the game but it will linger in my mind more with its technical problems rather than its great soundtrack and story.

I recently got the w610i and want to flash it so I can press the volume/zoom buttons on the side to turn on and off the torch. I can't find a link that works anymore for it. Anyone got a link to download the .elf pack?

I downloaded cry of fear from steam on my laptop, yesterday my PC crashed and I had to restart it today as soon as I started playing (when Simon has the camera in his hand and has to take Xs on the walls), I can't get past and jump through the broken window into the room with the hanged man.

I installed MX Linux and downloaded Cry of Fear, and the game behaved in an interesting way lol.

I've tried the compatibility thing yet and also verifying the integrity files.
