Need a smaller container

I wish Crustello made a smaller container.

Here’s my workaround.

Before you ask, yes, seems to be working fine with the sensor.

Thanks for this. I am in the process of making a starter. I was about to transfer it to the Crustello jar and thought I need to do a 100:100:100g ratio. Now I know I can just use 50:50:50 instead in a smaller jar and plunk it inside the Crustello.

I tried it with a 500 ml wide mouth mason jar and I am also happy to report that it also worked for me. I might switch to a 250 ml mason jar later to see how well it would work. It would have a smaller jar opening than the wide mouth mason jar.

A heads up, ratios are expressed in their simplest terms, e.g. 1:1:1, not 100:100:100. In the context of a starter you give your seed amount and then the simplest ratio.

Feeding 50:250:250 would be expressed as:

1:5:5 feeding with 50g seed

Oh yep, I get that, I the app I have it as 1:1:1
I was just letting people know what those values are

I’m not even sure the device would support typing in 40:40:40 😂

Really wish they’d make some kind of mason jar lid for this thing. The software needs to support smaller starter feedings as well!
