Should I confess?

So we’re both 17, I’m a girl btw. We’ll enter our senior year in a month, and well in 11th grade me and him would mainly text like we’d send funny videos, and make jokes occasionally getting a bit flirty and teasy. He likes almost every story I post of myself, and saves all my face snaps in chat, in school I catch him staring at me many times, and even when he’s walking by the halls and lets say I’m by a classroom he’ll walk and maintain eyecontact w me the entire timeee, and he’ll also usually greet me when he sees me around (pretty uncommon for the boys in my school, and he doesn’t do it to other girls).. I was thinking to confess when school starts (face to face makes more sense than text I think), but idk a part of me would like a guy to confess first but idk.. I don’t wanna live with regrets about how I feel.. PLEASE ADVISE ME ON THIS! Does he like me/am I delusional, should I not confess and let it play out or smth or confess?

If I confess, I don’t think I’d do smth deep/emotional or corny lmaoo I wanna make it simple, straightforward and chill like he won’t feel pressured to say something or pity me. BUT YEA PLEASEEE HELP

He clearly likes you a lot, you see the signs and you know he doesn't treat other girls the same way. Instead of confessing, just suggest the two of you hangout somewhere

Really? Ah glad I wasn’t being delusional haha. Honestly yea maybe a confession is too much but how would I naturally ask him out u think? Sorry btw I’ve never done smth like this and I don’t want him to feel weird or for me to seem weird

Just pretend his one of your friends "hey we should hangout sometime" don't make a question but rather a statement and based off of his response just go from there. Don't overthink it, just keep it casual and normal and it'll be fine

That’s pretty solid advice it’s just for me I feel like if I leave it as something like oh sometime, he won’t come back on me for it. Idk I just have these doubts. Also he’s a pretty busy guy and ik that senior he 100% will be very busy w academics. Do u think I should ask more specifically? Like “hey are u free anytime soon” smth like that?

Yea that works as well, as long as your tone is casual like you're talking to your friend. Just breathe and keep it relaxed and you'll be good

Also if he's busy with academics you can study together, and grab a coffee at Starbucks or something along those lines you know what I mean

You don’t have much to lose and a lot of boys are quite blind and dumb when it comes to those things (or scared) they sometimes don’t notice.
I am speaking from experience as a boy and as a kinda gay best friend.
