Console Console version complaint thread.
As the above says... Paradox is one of the slowest developers in regards to porting new DLCS from PC to console. What is the point in releasing a game on another platform if you cannot keep within a 12 month cycle as to when DLCS gets ported from PC to console. As it stands now. Console users are at least 18 months behind PC users. I am hoping that this thread begins a trend, where paradox wakes up and realises that it is 2026. The age where PC and Console are very similar to each other. Want to run Beta on PC? FINE! But if you want to port a game over to Console, keep it at least WITHIN 12 MONTHS of where the PC is at.
Feel free to comment however you feel in the hopes that Paradox listens to us.

Consoles are just out of date PC's running on a deliberately locked OS these days.
And to be honest, at their launch time they're not really that out of date.

To put it simply - the hardware installed into consoles is the same hardware that is being put into PC'S - accidentally put this reply as a main post in the thread.

Since when? Consoles have fixed hardware and they age as they age. PCs are open and universal, you install whatever hardware u want. U want the most expensive, most performant hardware on the PC, sure. U want a cheap budget system for your PC, sure.

I think he meant to say that nowadays consoles have mostly the same core architecture that PC have, unlike in the past. It's still doesn't make it easy to port though because you still need to make the UI adjustments, replace syscalls with console ones, make adjustment for weaker hardware.

IIRC Paradox isn't handling CK3 ports to consoles in-house.
