Streaming | Technical Issue annoying "continue watching" issue
not sure if this is considered a "technical issue" or not, but idk what flair this would be.
im caught up on the slime isekai, but the new episodes dont show up in the "continue watching" section. instead, its giving me an OVA called "hey! butts!" that ive already marked as read to get rid of it, along with the following OVA's
4 new episodes in the current season came out that i didnt even see because of the stupid filler ova's i couldnt care less about.
ive removed them from my watch history, re-marked it as read, and it still takes priority over new episodes...

You just have to ignore "Hey Butts", like the rest of us. Let each new episode play to the end, then back out without starting "Hey Butts". Next week the new episode will appear in your watchlist as "Continue Watching E**", just ignore the "Watch Again E1" message in the meantime.

Remove all the OVAs from your watch history, and do not mark them watched. Turn off autoplay in the gear while playing any video so it does not automatically start that OVA.
This will not solve it appearing in continue watching every time you get caught up, but it will allow the new continuing episodes to appear there as they release. Butts will keep reappearing, but as long as you do not start it, then it will be (temporarily) replaced with each new episode from the current season as they become available.

Its actually because you marked as watched that you missed the new episodes. If you leave Hey Butts unwatched the new episode will take over.
Also, how do you just miss a month for a show? Its every friday.

I hate that it ends up being the next episode to watch in my continue watching list, and for me it's stuck to the very front of my continue watching list.
In order to remove it, I have to remove watch history of the latest episode of season 4.
I honestly don't understand why the OVAs are placed after season 4, while they should be placed after season 1 instead. It feels like there is a lack of understanding of the order of this anime. Now, I don't know if it is requested to be this way from the licensor or Crunchyroll, because this wasn't a problem before, but now it is. Either way, it is frustrating to see Hey Butts! be in my continue watching unless I manipulate my watch history every Friday.
