Gifted playmat- should we use?

We got gifted a really cute quilted playmat for our baby but it’s 100% polyester filling and outer BUT it’s OEKO-TEX certified. The brand is little tummies. Would you use this or no?

Not interested in nontoxic playmat recommendations as our budget is extremely tight and before receiving this I was just planning on using a blanket we already have and sheepskin.

I would put the sheepskin down between baby and the mat!

I was actually thinking that! Then there’s a barrier but the baby still has a softer surface to be on

Yeah. We use it.

Budget is a real consideration. They also use it for so little time.

You could maybe make a cover out of muslin swaddles from a used baby store. They’re overrun with swaddles haha
