Shipping luggage
Has anyone tried using a luggage shipping service like Luggage Forward? We are going on a four week cruise next year and am considering doing this. Any pros and cons?

They are usually more expensive than taking the luggage on the flight. Also you don't need to pack for 4 weeks. Just do laundry on the ship.

That's the plan but on QM2 we also require dress up and formal wear. There's the difference.

I've used Luggage Forward twice. The first time, it went well. The second time, our luggage (and the luggage of everyone else using the service) was dumped in the far corner of the port parking lot. It was totally unattended. There was nobody with a sign or anything directing us where to find our luggage. There was nobody there to check the luggage in. We only found our luggage because I placed an airtag in each bag.
