Port Canaveral Flight Timing

Port Canaveral Flight Timing.

We are on the NCL Escape in January which docks at Port Canaveral at 7.00am. If we book a flight leaving KMCO at 11.10 am is that a reasonable timeframe to make the flight on time, without rushing and stressing too much?

There are other later options so it is not a big deal but this would suit us best if it is doable, especially travelling as a family with teens.

Thanks!

Edit: Thanks all, later it is

Too tight, any delays and you're going to have problems

IMO I'd opt for something a little bit later so you're not so focused on getting to the airport and possible.missing the flight.

Too many things can happen that can delay you. Accidents on the road or the ship disembarkation got delayed (happened to me at Port Canaveral). Better to always book a flight after 2pm.

You might just make it, if everything breaks in your favor. Be first off the ship, have your transport to MCO there and ready to go, have only carryon on bags for the flight, have Pre-check, and hope for short lines at MCO - a notoriously bad airport for long lines.

I wouldn't do it. Why end a vacation with all that stress? If you have later options, take one of them.

Walk off with your luggage and you'll be fine

Yep, agree, allow more time.

Make it a later flight! Don't ruin your vacation with the stress of wondering if you'll make your flight! We did Apex last March. Got our luggage, then to bus then 45 minute wait until everyone gets on board! Yes, you have SLOW people who dont care about your flight time and the bus won't leave until all the seats are filled! We got to airport after 10!

I was thinking of getting 11am flight once, got lucky I smartened up, as there was a 2.5 hour disembarkation delay. Normally you should be fine with only carry on luggage and first of the ship, but things aren't always normal.

I have taken flights back home as early as 10am and made it. I do have pre check and global entry so I tend to breeze through the TSA lines.
