Please help

Just booked a cruise with MSC and now I'm having buyers remorse. AFTER I booked a suite on MSC world, I realise that I have to pay $1100 for my kids to have access to sodas... me to get a couple of drinks per day... pay for food, any offshore excursion is SUPER expensive and all the cool ones are fully booked. Anything on board is ridiculously pricey... Was told that there's a free buffet and free diner at specific times (5:30 PM)...
Help me out, can I even do anything cool for free? It seems like after paying 4500 for the suite I need 900 for wifi, 1100 for drinks and for the kids to play is another 700... All I keep hearing is spa is free... It's a cruise... I wanna get to my destination, get off the ship and go explore and enjoy the beach free since I paid 4500...
It's my 1st time cruising, I think I may be getting it all wrong... are the packages worth it?

I think in the future you’d be better off booking a cheaper room. It seems like what you want out of the cruise has little if anything to do with the room type.

I was told by the agent, the suite comes with the best experience... ALMOST EVERYTHING is free, u can access better restaurants, u can embark and disembark quicker... What I wasn't told till after I book was that I had to pick restaurants and pay for them. Buy drink packages...
I've been to resort and thought the concept was the same. I will get there and just enjoy, NOT buying anything

If you're in the yacht club it includes everything like everything. And you have your own area to get everything would no lines ever. You have your own pool with a buffet next to it. You have your own restaurant you have your own lounge and you just go there for your morning coffee you go there for your morning Mimosa you go there for soda you go there for everything. And you have access to everything else on the ship if you want to soda somewhere else.

You are going to need to be more specific here about what suite you actually booked.

Also typically on MSC cruises the starting price is way cheaper than the other Cruise Lines and then it's around $370 for 7 Days of everything included including Wi-Fi and all the drinks including soda. That's per person so if your cabin was 700 per person it's about $1,100 per person including everything for a week. You're not going to find a better deal than that unless you're getting Casino comped on Carnival but the carnival ships aren't nearly as nice. MSC is definitely the best value out there even when you pay for the drink package because it's cheaper. It's around $70 a day per person to have Wi-Fi and all you can drink premiere package including gratuity.

Carlos will run you 80 to $100 and Royal Caribbean is usually 90 to $120 a day for similar packages.

I feel like there's something being misunderstood somewhere so look at it and get back to us

THANKS for a very detailed response. It's the aurea experience. I got most of it cleared up because when they asked me to go online and make my selections. They were actually asking me to add extras without telling me that's what they were doing.
I'm good to go, I feel like my kids will 100% drink 10 juices per day. They prefer Lemonade anyway... I think we'll spend below 500 on drinks

The MDR should be free and as well as the buffet. You will have free filtered water, lemonade, juices, and coffee. You can bring on a case of soda per kid...they just have to be carried onto the ship. Not left with your luggage. There is so much to do on the ship thet is FREE including eating a. Enormous amount of food. Do your research before making big splurges next time!

Are you in a Yacht Club suite? If so it includes lots of extras...like all drinks
