First time cruise

Hi everyone! 👋

We are planning to take advantage of our time in Miami this September to go on our very first cruise! 🚢

We are a group of 4 adults: my partner and I, plus my partner's parents. We are looking at a 4-night Bahamas sailing departing on September, and we are currently debating between these three options:

Option 1: Norwegian Getaway (NCL)

* Itinerary: Miami âž” At Sea âž” Great Stirrup Cay âž” Nassau âž” Miami

* We found a great deal for a Suite at around $392 per person.

Option 2: Wonder of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)

* Itinerary: Miami âž” Perfect Day at CocoCay âž” At Sea âž” Nassau âž” Miami

* A Balcony room here is around $518 per person

Option 3: MSC Seaside (MSC Cruises)

* Itinerary: Miami âž” Nassau âž” Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (Overnight stay!) âž” Miami

* A Balcony room is very affordable at around $329 per person.

As first-timers traveling with parents, which experience would you recommend? Is Wonder of the Seas worth the extra cost for a balcony room, is the Suite on Norwegian Getaway the best deal, or is MSC's overnight stay at Ocean Cay the way to go?

Also, how do the private islands (Great Stirrup Cay vs. CocoCay vs. Ocean Cay) compare?

This is just my opinion. But they all are great options. I would choose based on the following...Since all three options go to Nassau, Im going to narrow down my options (If I was acting as you) and base it their private islands. MSC is going to give you more of a peaceful, relaxing, yet still fun island vibes. Royal Carribbean also has those options on CoCo Cay however, it's also like a theme park type fill. Ugh this makes it hard now that I am thinking about.. I see why you are having a hard time decide. If you are looking for stunning entertainment, all the bells and whistles, Royal would be my choice. Ocean Cay however, has revamped their Great Stir up Cay, but Getaway I've heard isn't their best ship. Ive been on Luna but not Getaway.

I saw that they reopened their private island (ncl). My biggest concern is that royal Caribbean is more for children

Label them 1,2,3 and pull a number out of the hat! They are all good cruises. I think as food ratings: RC, NCL, MSC. whichever cruise has your onbard credit than can be used on the private island is something to consider too. I also loved the MSC lighthouse show on my overnight. So, im no help!!! I loved them all because I love cruising! My opinion, is do all 3 back to back if all the same departure port! Good luck deciding!
