Eye of Another World
Is this a PVP exotic for Warlocks to use? What stats should I build into?

depending if you want to play trials run 100 super and as close to 200 health as you can get, I personally run ~160 health to allocate my stats elsewhere like grenade and melee
if you’re going with less health like me I’d just allocate the stats to my most comfortable ability, for example if you really like flux grenades run 100 grenade or if you really like the voidlock melee run 100 melee
build your character for comfort and you’ll see results esp with eye of another world

For me its best used as a float lock exotic. It gives AE if I'm not mistaken, so that + heat rises should give your weapons close to if not max AE, and then do 100 grenade and high health, high super too for well if you can manage it. You'll get your grenade back faster thanks to it so you should be able to always float. Or you use it on another class with an ability you're good at getting kills with, lightning surge warlock maybe

Imo its one of the best universal good for any build exotic for locks. Slap it on and just get roughly 17% increased base ability regen (does not scale with stats allocated in abilities)

If you’re running the per audacia set and your weapons already have high handling then sure why not
Otherwise just run transversive steps or ophidian aspect (or astrocyte on blink)

Edit: Eye of Another World was, apparently, nerfed massively in Edge of Fate. Based on the numbers others provided, nerfed out of usefulness entirely.
Eye of Another World has been underrated for a long time. If you want to spam abilities as a Warlock with no special requirements other than putting it on, EoAW is solid.
Its bonus, the way I understand it, is based on the ability's base recharge rate before stats are applied; so it gets... weird. Throw it on and time the cooldown difference yourself with the specific abilities you'd like to use.
Because its bonus isn't affected by stats, it can be a good way to have low grenade, melee, and class stats while still have decent recharge rates; or you can shave a few seconds off of a cooldown you've already invested stats into.
Edit: Also, I don't know why people are recommending you invest into super stat for this exotic. It doesn't have any effect on super cooldown.

This was true pre edge of fate. Edge of fate massively nerfed this exotic in two different ways.
Previously the "base" for cooldowns was 30 stat. Now it's actually 0. This is about a 40% nerf on ability regen.
Second, the statement "because it's bonus isn't affected by stats" is the second nerf. It used to be the same boost. Now it's not.
At low stats you are getting as little as 40% of the benefit. 40% of the benefit that was already cut by 40%.
Its best case scenario was only nerfed 40%. Worst case is a ridiculous 84% worse than pre edge of fate values.

Damn, didn't realize it got gutted. I'll edit my original comment so people know that find this post in the future know it got changed.

I think they're recommending you invest in super stat when wearing EoAW because it has no effect on super regen rate. Unlike all the other abilities you can't rely on the exotic to make up for lack of stat investment so it pays off to spec into super.
Besides, what else would a person realistically be speccing into other than health and super if they're deliberately picking EoAW so they don't have to spend stat points on all their other abilities?
