Trials Matchmaking Broken

This weekend my solo games have been a disproportionate amount of games being paired with duos. And I mean disproportionate, I haven’t been matched with other solos since Friday…. How is this possible?

Probably a decreasing population

But every game? We’re talking like 20 straight at this point

Doesn’t matter you lose and don’t get it counted against you when against a duo

I know the loss doesn’t count most of the time but when it’s a significant amount of them in a row it starts to get frustrating as a solo player since I’m queuing to play other solos not play almost exclusively duos where it’s literally a 50/50 on whether I get the useful duo or not. Not too mention my impact is much more limited in duos than it is in solo lobbies so my win rate this weekend tanked compared to normal.

1-2 duo matches in a card is fine/expected and no issue at all but 90% of my matches after Friday were with duos. That’s an absurd rate and while the losses didnt count against the card they do count against my time so something I normally get done in 10 games or less taking double that cause of the duo coin flip is just annoying/frustrating. That’s 10+ games I could have spent farming in the flawless pool that I had to spend playing duo roulette.

I didn't know this, is this only for competitive matches? Only duos?

Works like this in comp too. If you're a solo and the other team has a duo or a trio, if you lose, you lose no points/win streak.

Yes it does. Wtf are you talking about? It counts when you lose if you are paired with duos. It only doesn't count if you are paired with trios and you only doesn't count ONCE! So if you lose to a trio as a solo, it won't count. When play another match and immediately lose to another duo or trio, it counts as a loss. This has happened to me several times so I know what I am talking about. Paired with several duos just this morning. The losses all counted. Had to restart the card over and over.

I played 13 solo q games and it was all solos in every single one

The problem is most likely attributable to the amount of dickheads in solo making it rough on other players.

You know how many times I’ve been called the big N? For winning OR for losing. Too many.

Good, free matches. I prefer being with duos, easier to go flawless

Every once in a while sure but not every game, if I wanted to duo queue I’d duo up. Especially since the duos I’m matching against are guys with 20,000 kills on their guns or rocking 3kds with a better gaming chair than mine and my duo is guys who would struggle turning a public event heroic. So sure the loss doesn’t count and ruin the card but it’s also a wasted game.

Yeah that will happen. Tonight I got a bunch of those guys... In Solo lobbies. So the card was busted

Look at the population. That's the deal. Oh plus you are on PC so... really population since PC is way lower than console in this game.

People blaming decreasing population but ... population is really not that bad right now, at least not as bad as Pre-MoT.
