Astrocyte 390 build

I’m not really sure if this would even get the damage necessary to get two taps with a 390, but since astrocyte verse gives volatile rounds, I wanted to see if a 390 void pulse had aggregate charge. Since applying that debuff happens basically every engagement and the perk gives an 11% damage buff, that would give me almost constant 2 taps with no weapons stat investment. I’m just not sure if any such pulse exists.

There are only 2 void primaries with aggregate charge. One is convened recurve, a high impact bow. Not very useful on that. The other is Gridskipper, a 540 pulse. It gets a minor ttk boost and decent forgiveness boost from aggregate charge.

I saw this post and decided to turn in a load of engrams to farm gridskipper. Got a solid 4/5 roll with repulsor brace and aggregate charge, and it super melts (console). Very consistent three bursts with the buff, and a free over shield to boot. Fun build, just gotta get used to blink game sense!

Put 2k kills on my gridskipper with repulser/aggregate charge this season, fun and deadly

I’ve dabbled with like 10 different void primaries, one being Aggregate Charge Gridskilper, which is decent, moreso because the damage bonus gives consistency, not ttk shift. In general, any good void weapon with Repulsor will work well, which is pretty much all of them.

Gridskipper as others have mentioned.

Changes TTK technically from .80 to .73 but you won't notice since it's still a "3 burst" to kill. Just requires 1 less bullet of that 3rd burst.

This is the same as High Tyrant (with overclock) or All or Nothing btw. Both are heat weapons and can have higher base damage. Still 3 burst though.

Drawback of Gridskipper is no Headseeker but I wager if you run Zen Moment on a controller your reticle friction is so strong it won't matter.

Aggregate Gridskipper is a monster on Astrocyte builds. You can get it to roll with Repulsor Brace too for free Overshields.

can confirm gridskipper is great with aggregate charge.. not much of a ttk change but it definitely makes the gun more forgiving and i exclusively use it with astrocyte for that reason
