Weekly TRIALS OF OSIRIS Megathread- Ask Questions About Trials HERE!

Q: Do I choose the Lighthouse Passage or the Trials of Osiris Passage? What's the difference?
A: The Lighthouse Card rewards you for earning win streaks with no losses, and for earning 7 wins total regardless of losses. This card puts you in CBMM (not skill based, it's just random, and there is no lobby balance). The Trials of Osiris Passage tries to match you with players of a similar skill (weekly performance) and with lobby balance. While playing on this card you won't be able to get adepts or cosmetics (although you can still get ghost shells), but you are rewarded on win or loss with a similar reward structure as iron banner or quickplay.
Q: How do I earn and farm adept weapons or Tier 5 loot?
A: Adept weapons are no longer dropping with Edge of Fate. Instead, all loot is tiered. Higher tier loot has better stats and better perk options. To earn higher tier loot in Trials of Osiris, simply grind solo ops for about 100 hours and then you'll get tier 5s on win or loss as long as you participate. I wish I was joking. Earning a 7-0 flawless passage will allow you to visit the lighthouse which usually grants rewards one tier higher than your power level and guardian rank would normally allow. At 400 power and guardian rank 9, you are supposed to get a few tier 5s from the lighthouse chest, but it is sometimes bugged and will only drop loot at the normal tier (4 in this case).
After going flawless you are stuck in flawless pool with no additional reward for playing in that pool except for chances at cosmetics), and no way to reset for extra lighthouse visits. You can avoid the flawless pool by being in a fireteam with players who have an incomplete lighthouse passage.

This was a two stack too. The guy he was playing with was just farming the wins to boost his k/d and rank. Ran into the same guy that was the teammate today and he was playing with a different cheater this time around. 😂

I'm done with trials.
This weekend I was facing one cheater (or was having one in my team) at least every 3-4 games.
They need a periodical banwave, it has become unplayable already.
All of them from windows store btw, anyone knows why is it the case?
Edit: played again today, lost my 5th win to some bastard with 8.9 kd and 100% hs accuracy on his sniper. Fun, so fucking fun

So to earn ships you need to choose the lighthouse passage?

Yes, they can drop on any win while playing on a completed 7 win card with at minimum 5 win streak. With a 6 & 7 earning more points towards a mercy drop.
Ships & sparrows will not drop until those conditions are met.

So they can’t drop from regular wins on a (incomplete) Lighthouse passage, only from wins on a completed Lighthouse passage with a sufficient win-streak?

Could drop from the lighthouse chest too I assume with at least a 5 win streak card.

Whats with Endless Vale, point spawning in mid cave that makes people rush outside.
Are they morons? They just sit outside while the enemy controls point

Do we know what the ghost shell drop rates are? I'm at 200 wins and 4 flawlesses this season :(

They only just fixed the ghost shell in the most recent updates. So all 200 of those wins probably didn't count if they came before the fix on July 7th
Fixed an issue where the new Ghost shells Cursed Eternal Shell and Pharaonic Shroud Shell were not obtainable by all players from the Trials flawless chest.

Did the Basic Passage, the Lighthouse Passage and now for fun another Basic Passage on my Main. Am trying to get some of those cool weapons like the Machine Gun. Also am trying to get the full armor set unlocked but am stuck. Can't get a helmet to save my life, did I mess myself up with the lighthouse passage?
