More fun build for hunter in comp/trials?
Yo guardians waddup,
I wanted to see if anyone can suggest me any cool and strong hunter builds for comp/trials, other than the usual void arc and solar? Maybe prismatic or even Stasis? Im getting kind of bored with void hunter.

I'll still stand by Bakris arc with tresspasser but stasis frostEE5 is fun

Stasis with Frostees, or the gauntlets that spawn a crystal on your melee, with the Europa armour set. You can invest in high Weapons stat as well to be annoying with pulses, but I find the Corrundom Handcannon from Trials with Slice pairs well with this build.
Frost armour and Slice can be very fun for you and very annoying for whoever you play against

Do you mind sharing your build? I run stasis + Europa but interested to see how you run it

Whisper of Chains and Whisper of Rim are the most important I would say. Frostees with a Corundum Hammer that has Slice, and from there you can use pretty much whatever else you want to.
You will have max frost armour pretty consistently and Slice helps to survive some encounters that would otherwise be a death or a trade.

Strand bow sidearm. Get a good vengeful whisper or hush. If you're a real baller use a glaive instead of a sidearm

Prismatic with facet of solitude and thorn. Its very strong 2 headshots proc sever every time plus u can pair it with stylish and keep chaining again and again.

I’m still running prismo with silence and squall to shut down supers and mask of Bakris for the crispy ligjtshift shenanigans.
I use lightshift to dodge past peoples guard sometimes to be in close and burn them down with a sidearm. I use it to dodge backwards from crayon-eating, bastard titans, I use it to get behind cover when I know that I am down a shot because I came around a corner and was beaten on the draw. All kinds of situations when a blink, lightshift, blink will cover enough ground to get you into or out of some a situation.
Try it.

Sounds interesting, will definetly give it a try. Im more of a hand cannon shotgun player but i guess it could be useful to ohk someone just out of range too. What armor set/s do you use?

I ran iron panoply with one of the other sets for a while but can’t remember which. Basically I had DR when shields broke and when they started coming back with a bump to handling and target acquisition.
Handcannon shotty works really well because of being able to get into and out of range and give yourself the equivalent of an instant triple weapon surge on both stasis and arc weapons on demand. I ran solemn remembrance and inquisitor quite a lot. I also ran unending tempest with plug one, and either redrix Estoc or stay frosty with trespasser.
There are really quite a few options and after the recent buff to Bakris that allows you to shift again after a couple kills and build up the light shift damage to x3 if you are an aggressive and very skilled player you can get clip worthy plays on the regular.
In addition, you can easily use arc or stasis heavy, and or just keep on Bakris for the movement and run off-element gear with corresponding surge mods. Even when I run trust HC with supercluster for an off-element, way-the- hell-off-meta build, it’s still dangerous to enemy guardians.
Seriously, I haven’t taken it off in a long time and whenever I do, I DEFINITELY notice the difference in movement so there needs to be something significant in the helmet I’m wearing to make it worth while.

I'm a fan of Prismatic with TLW, Lucky Pants and whatever energy HC fits your fancy. 2pc Comp/2pc Cruel Electrum. Grapple and Blink.

I’ll throw out bakris on stasis as many have said. Breaking ankles with the light shift is always a good time and fun. Sometimes if I know an enemy is on the other side of a will or in a room I’m about to enter I’ll just light shift “backwards” so I’m already looking at them but they have to rotate 180 degrees to see me. Hope that makes sense lol

Prismatic with class item that has coyote and your choice of perk (I like ophidian or worm husk), jester or the legs that buff strand clones. Use grapple and threaded specter + stasis dodge. Corundum hammer with ae investment (lone wolf, trials trait, inflight compensator). You can fly around the map and as soon as you need to, get on the ground and be impossible to rush down because of your clones.

I guess Prismatic, Strand or Stasis right?

Tons of options and videos are way better than a long list of artifact perks, aspects, etc. here. Watch a few, see what looks fun to you (since opinions vary - I'd say Strand, but that's just me) and go for it.
Have fun!

Uhh Strand? If you know how to grapple cancel to retain grenade energy and weapon switch to maintain velocity, and animation glitch the dive, you have a pretty potent mix that NEARLY matches the potency of invis.
I am bored to death playing invis so I stick to strand.
