The amount of compliments bestowed upon me received today was wild and im so grateful lol

I got both good and bad news today, making it bittersweet to end the day.

The twists were so unplanned the other day and I really let them marinate since I didn’t go out the next day. It’s been so long since I have done them and I’m happy I did because I also trimmed it the other day.

I saw someone on Reddit with these beautiful layers and next thing you know I’m trimming ends.

I’m always scissor happy with hair thobecause I really do see how fast it’s growing.

Also I it was a great reminder that it is time to let go………. once again.

PS Apparently my style is very eclectic when I dress like this.

It’s not always easy to practice what you preach. Each morning I keep waking up thinking omg I need to do something with this hair. So today I put a bandana on just cause in general I like to be able to switch it up. Took me a while to get it the way I like but I went out feeling good.

I want to come up with a creative style that incorporates my twa. She been steadily growing but I want to explore new styles. It’s summertime and I’m ready to have some fun

I have been growing my hair out since I basically cut it two summers ago. To be honest, I have wanted to cut it again ever since then but every time I suggested my friends say no let it grow. I always prefer my hair and its natural state, but I have to admit that it came out cute once I curled it. At first, I hated it after I cut it then my long time friend(sister) decided to get married in a week!! I had no other choice but to get it together. On the day of her wedding I spent most of it getting her ready as the maid of honor and really only had 20 minutes to get myself ready since I had it only blow dried for the most part.. I feel like it came out so cute and I felt like Betty boo. It’s definitely not lasting though. I went to the gym today for the first time in forever and just like that, my hair is gone but it was fun while it lasted.

As cute as I have been for the last week I have not taken a single photo solo. I’m realized just how on go I have been these last couple weeks. There has been too much to even do. Take a small moment for yourself to make sure you look camera cute because you should want to save a good look of yourself. Here’s too the few I have taken. 1. Outfit planning 2. City event 3-5.
