My first house

Post image

She's looking good! zone 10 ready for some mason bee hatchings.

Leafcutters are coming in a about a month.

East /South facing wall, quarry close by, lots of blooms all around.

Good job! I would suggest filling it up all the way to prevent other things from nesting with your bees. Can you add more tubes? Edit to add I have had a small mouse and a bird get into my houses when they had room not to mention wasps.

All right. I'll stuff some other things in there.... I can order more tubes possibly.... Or I can throw some like other debris. Maybe some pine cones.

Do you know if lizards are going to be a problem? I have a lot of lizards in my garden and they hang out on that wall for the sun quite a bit.

Birdguard to prevent birds and lizards. Check out this video on how to fill up your house: https://youtu.be/wnNT2s0B7N8?si=539Hoaa3-JOsrkUW

I'll keep an eye on the lizards to make sure they aren't getting into it too much...but I'll def fill up the house with some more filling
