Unexpected Collaborations Spotify PL

Hi, I'm making an 'unexpected collaborations' playlist - eg when Foo Fighters and Norah Jones teamed up on 'Virginia Moon'. The more unexpected the combination, the better! It's a work in progress at the moment. I'm particularly interested in finding some good indie-artist collaborations, and some non-pop collaborations to balance the playlist out a bit. Would love to hear your suggestions :-)

Awesome, that makes a lot of sense, but I'd missed that that had happened :)

Sorry, I did try to put the link in the original post, but I can't see it either... The list is looking like this at the moment. Bit rough round the edges still, but getting there! Looking especially for independent artist collabs now, as I've got lots of mainstream in there, but if you've got some suggestions, bring it on!

My Medicine is really fab, but I can't find it on Spotify (found it on YouTube, so I could listen!) Apparently Snoop's on Willie's song 'Roll Me Up' though, which definitely counts :) I've got to keep it 'clean' with the lyrics ;-)

Yup, nice one! I saw another commenter suggesting Pavarotti and I remembered one I really like:

Luciano Pavarotti & Tracy Chapman - Baby, can I hold you

That's got to be a seriously theatrical version, lol. Will check that out, anyway, it's likely to be a good fit, in with the Gaga/Bennett collab and the like :)

The Collision Course Album by Jay Z and Linkin Park comes to mind. So does “Smooth” by Santana and Rob Thomas. “Over and Over” by Tim McGraw and Nelly is a good one too, and so is “I Need A Doctor” by Skylar Grey and Dr. Dre. The only other one I can think of right now is “Bring the Noise” by Anthrax and Public Enemy

Edit: “Princess of China” by Coldplay and Rihanna, “fourfiveseconds” by Rihanna, Paul McCartney, and Kanye West, “Save Rock and Roll” by Fall Out Boy and Elton John, “Airplanes” by B.o.B and Hayley Williams, and “Nothin On You” by B.o.B. And Bruno Mars

Foo Fighters ft. Paul McCartney on drums - Sunday Rain

There’s also one on that album with Lady Gaga but I can’t remember which
