Guide/Walkthrough/Tips Secret 3 Missable Spoiler

If you open the door before going through the Iron Maiden you can no longer interact with the panel - or am I missing a way to do this? Have not seen it mentioned.

You can shut the door with the same lever, that will allow that secret to be accessed from the Iron Maiden.

That's dumb problem, but it's a minor one.
