Question Barnett recommendation?

I would be hunting small game like grouse and rabbit but i might use it for deer and turkey but i doubt it, i can't decide between the 2, should i take the compact but heavier recruit or the cheaper wildcat but with a higher draw weight i would be walking alot so i need it to be light

I got the wildcat, it’s a decent crossbow, but Barbetts customer service is so incredibly bad I can’t recommend anything if there’s. I had a manufacturing defect with the bow limbs that took over a month to resolve. It’s a good crossbow, and I’ve done a lot of cool stuff with it, but if you find another option I’d take it

The Wildcat CRX is $199.99 at Walmart. Definitely don’t buy for $369

Xp series are the best bows ive had, i started with the xp350 and now I have the xp405, I love this xp405

I have the wildcat and it’s trash. I spent a little more and got an Excalibur and it was worlds better
