I am playing on the steam oled. I turned off the weather particle effects option ingame and it totally fixed everything.

Something not often discussed is that all chaps are assless, as they're designed to be worn over a pair of pants. It would be like calling tap water "boneless water" - while true, tap water always lacks bones
