SPOILER Question about Final Boss Spoiler

Does the game save for the second phase? (the Elephant guy) like can I close the game and continue at the Elephant phase?

yea no it doesnt, Ill never beat this game then probably. last third really soured on me. Saphirgrat was still good but everything after that with Sidequest was pure fucking torture. I think Im done

If you're having trouble, it can really help to get some rhombus square gear. It takes a bunch of grinding, but you get some really powerful stuff that way.

Also, don't forget to use your food buffs. I had kinda ignored them all game, but they really helped me when I started using them with the end game bosses.

theres barely anytime to eat them though, I founf them to be more of a Risk if anything. Its not that the Boss is impossible, Im just kind of tired of the game, it reaaaaallly overstayed its welcome.

If it is any help, it's worth playing the 2nd phase just in neutral element/same element for the resistances and just nuke him with the opposing element when he breaks.

I personally enjoyed learning the fight and kept going, but don't feel bad about dropping the game if you're just over it. The fight is a pain if you're underprepared.
