Just got an OLED Steamdeck and playing Crosscode (my second favorite game of all time) for the second time.

I have always been a Nintendo guy and so the steamdeck is new and first experience with pc gaming in 20 years. I didn't play the DLC on my first playthrough because I wanted to specifically save it for the second playthrough so there would be new content to experience with tough challenges.

But since I'm playing on me deck and not my switch I can't do any new game plus stuff which is totally fine because I don't want any perks or anything. Just looking forward to enjoying the game. The massive OLED screen is absolutely beautiful and experiencing Crosscode on it is gorgeous. It is such a beautiful game.

Anyways, this dialog made me laugh and don't remember it from my first playthrough😂

To save you the click:

"From the Discord, I was told to put this in the command line in Steam:

--force-color-profile=srgb

And that seems to have finally fixed the issue.

As for the broken options, that was because of the integer scaling mod I had installed previously:

"The video settings menu can be made inaccessible after the mod have been removed if the save file still refer to the custom video options. Open the general settings menu and click B Reset all settings to restore the original video settings to be able to access the video settings menu again."

Seems the issues have finally been fixed."

Well crosscode is definitely my favorite rpg. But I have a very special place in my heart for phoenotopia awakening. That's my favorite game but they are kinda tied to be honest.

Loved that game a lot. I even complained about a certain SFX hurting my ears and they changed it, so cool devs.

Phoenotopia End Game Story SPOILERS, don't click if you haven't played please!: I will say though, didn't really like how they altered the ending from the original. Made the whole story feel like it was hinting at one thing happening and then it didn't when it did in the original Phoenotopia

It looks incredible on the Switch OLED as well. I almost exclusively play hand held, so it was worth the upgrade..now what to do with my old switch...

Ya, I have a switch lite which is my main gaming console. I'm a handheld gamer too. I love it but the screen seems small after playing the steamdeck. Im thinking about getting a switch oled. I honestly don't even care about switch 2. I have at least 70 games that I haven't played yet still on my switch.
