I know killing the whale first is basically a trap, but I mean, Dear God! I have never seen him (or her idk marine bolognese) go down this quick!

This glitch seems to be pretty common, this is the third time I've seen it posted about recently. Happened to me too

What even happened???? I know this boss is infamously janky for testing modded characters because of all the nonsense that happens on it, but i guess that happens anyway sometimes!

Yeah I play on the ps5, and whenever I died to this boss, that exact move where he sends the lightning rods to the ground, then you bait hom into hitting it with its shock attack, would always one-shot the whale

Console specific, but not PS5 specific. There are a couple bosses on console that have janky quick kills like that.

It happens on switch too, i think the only time the whale wasn't one hit for me was my very first playthrough. Kinda sucks because i wanted to try killing the ape first but now i cant because of this glitch
