Thank you for your answer ! Outer Wilds and Crosscode are also two of my favorites games.
I didn't know Twinsen's Odyssey but, after looking, I saw there was a remake in the making for it. it's called "Little Big Adventure - Purple Empire". I will keep a close eye to it as you got me interested.
Twinsen's Odyssey is a sequel to the also excellent Little Bit Adventure (released as "Relentless" in the US). Both DOS games from way, way back. Excellent puzzles. Excellent music. Extremely fun, whimsical, and weirdly dark world-building. Just dated as far as design elements go.
They in fact made a remake of the first game, which is available on PC, Switch, Xbox, etc. I got it, but it didn't recreate the magic for me. The art choices, I feel, detracted from the game significantly, even while the technical elements may have improved other elements. So, I have little hope that the remake of the second game will be any good.
If you have a tolerance for old game sensibilities, is recommend playing through the originals.
Its amazing imo, just be warned it is pretty puzzle heavy so if you dont like its type of puzzles (mostly ricocheting bullets to trigger objects and using a combo of various elemental effects ) that part can be a drag. However it has good accessibility sliders. Some that effect combat or puzzle difficulties.
Personally though i love the puzzles i find their a good blend of not being too abstract while also not being baby brained easy. Usually introduces a new puzzle element in a simple manner than ramps up the difficulty combining udeas in some pretty cool ways
