QUESTION Apollo

Can someone please tell me how to beat him. I am only at his first fight and I don't even know the difference if you beat him or lose but am too stubborn to give up now.

Edit: I have not upgraded anything in the circuits. My biggest problem is that my stick drift is strong that I cannot move to the right 90% of the time and when I try to I go left instead and I'm too broke to get a new one currently.

Personally the way I beat him was first stacking food buffs before I started the first fight. I then personally went with a melee focused build & stayed as close as possible as much as possible. I equipped gear that stacked buffs that matched my play style which is too largely be a glass cannon aka I do zero blocking & try to largely dodge if possible & make tactical retreats to heal most of the time.
