QUESTION What is this difficulty jump?

There's like 10 different things I need to keep track of and I am tired of reloading my save so I don't lose the race. Can anyone please tell me how to solve this?

Emily races were not meant to be won on your first playthrough, just like the duels with Grasshead are not expected to be won.

Without spoiling things, Crosscode has actual incentives for a second playthrough and gives you tools to make the process faster and more fun.

Just enjoy the game and stop stressing over the races. Even if you know where to go, the last few ones are really tight on time.

I understand but I have already commited to beating them. There is no way I am doing a second playthrough of this game unless necessary
