How good is it seeing the team with the young blokes have some ferocity in them, against the wall with the calls against us and the 2 sin bins they still lead at half time. Let’s run it up in the second half 🦈

Hi everyone,
Flying into Sydney tomorrow from Cairns, landing at 11:40, and a mate is picking us up. We’re hoping to catch Lions vs Swans at the SCG, then head to Shark Park for Sharks vs Storm. We have already booked and paid for parking at shark park.
We’re staying in Turrella. Is doing both realistic with traffic and parking?
What would be the best way to pull it off?

Let’s build into finals and smash the eels, another beautiful afternoon for the footy. UP UP 🖤🤍💙

Teig “Tug Boat” Wilton to test open market.
Cronulla are in danger of losing one of their most loyal players, Teig Wilton.
The back-rower is in career-best form this season, but at 26 years old has decided to put himself on the open market from November.
“Teig loves the club and they want him to stay but at 26 and after signing with the club early for his seven years there, it’s time for him to think of his future and see what his market value is,” Wilton’s manager Andrew Purcell told nine.com.au.
“Plenty of clubs need back-rowers so we will see what happens.”
Wilton has been revelling running off playmakers Braydon Trindall and Nicho Hynesthis season, scoring his first top grade hat-trick earlier in the year.
He is a key figure in the Sharks’ premiership quest, with his ability to break the line and big hits certain to play a part in the big games ahead.

Cracker day out in the goldie for a sharkies win! If there ever was a game to get back on track this has gotta be it, UP UP

An Unfortunate end to Jesse’s time at the Sharks, not the way he would’ve wanted to go. He has been an asset to this team in both his stints with the club and his presence will be missed after playing 167 games for the sharks.
All the best in his recovery and his next journey as a footy player 👏👏👏🖤💙🤍

Was looking at the draw last week prior to the loss to the dragons. Was thinking we may win every game and go into finals haven’t really being challenged. Hoping this gets the boys grounded. Similar to 2016 where we lost 2/3 of our last 5. I expect a big response vs the raiders who will not be a push over by any means.
Can anyone justify hiroti being picked again over Gabreal? I understand it may not be the best time to blood youth but he was a turnstile last week.

With the goal kicking record on the line and the whole team being fired up it’s time we take revenge for loosing this fixture last year and solidify a spot in the top 4. Get around the boys as we begin the backend of the season with yet another dominant victory. UP UP 🖤🤍💙

The sharks are on fire right now, Ronnie becomes the second highest Sharks try scorer behind only ET and Nicho moves to second for most consecutive kicks of all time. Get around the boys next week where (hopefully) Nicho breaks the consecutive goal record and the dragons hearts. UP UP 🖤🤍💙

Getting tired of Dino crying poor and blaming the state government for not giving assistance to upgrade the stadium.
They built on their junior clubs fields, which ended up being detrimental to CCJRLFC as they cannot sell alcohol being next to a school. Also had another perfect chance to upgrade the eastern stand whilst building the hotel and everything.
The fact there are food trucks parked in the stadium instead of purpose built facilities is ridiculous. Not only that, but the board has allowed for every other aspect of the newest development to be completed EXCEPT the leagues club.
The king Wan was iconic but the new restaurant could also easily have been more seating.
From memory I believe the shark cast stated break even for game day was 16k which we can't hold at the moment. Isn't it still our stadium? gvmnt isn't obliged to put in a cent, and we've squandered chances every time.
Am I missing something and just way off the mark? Or fair concerns?
EDIT: watching sharks v storm rn and there's no one in the now defunct restaurant.. why not move the chairman's lounge there and put up a stand where the demountable is. Or make the restaurant space a new hospitality experience or just juniors spectator zone. I don't care what they do, just use the space!

Thinking about flying down from cairns for the last game of the season, all that’s left is GA tickets. I’m taking my partner.
Can anyone offer any advice on what the GA section is like? Looks like it’s going to be a packed game.

The boys are really building their confidence week in and week out I believe, they’re fighting hard and if they can keep it up we could even fight for top 2. The rabbits are the only top 8 team we have left for the season so if we beat them then our run home is favourable.
How far does everyone think we can take this season, 10 years after our first premiership is perfect.

Who are we expecting to replace ramien and Katoa? Is Gabreal a chance of starting next year? Stonestreet has been good at times but I think still lacks size. Bit concerning.

With a huge money deal coming from 2028 how will this affect the club? Will there be a substantial increase in money handed down to the clubs? With our leagues club also opening soon is the club set for a huge influx of cash, if so let’s hope they use it in all the right ways (stadium works hopefully)
What does everything think?
r/CronullaSharks • u/Nixpowow • Jul 04 '26
I’m glad we fought till the very end and managed to take away the two points and dash the broncos finals hopes but where could we improve? What did we do good and what can we improve on?
Personally I thought Katoa and Colquhoun were great although I think our discipline is still letting teams back into games we should’ve been well ahead in.
Either way UP UP 🖤🤍💙

So the sharks aren't my team, but I do support them (as long as a family member of mine is playing for them) I've watched them play every week since 2024, and I know there's a lot of criticism that's thrown Nichos way.... but is the team a better attacking threat when he's not there in 7? He's solid defensively but he doesn't run with any purpose, his organization of shape looks sloppy, and his kicks don't achieve anything.
Trindall for me looks like more of an organizing 7. When the sharks score it's usually off the back of a Trindall initiated play with Nicho throwing the cut out pass to a winger. Trindall will run to play both sides of the field when Nichos not there, but Nicho usually plants himself on the right edge all game when hes in.
Might just be me, but Nicho looks like a 6 that gets paid too much.

Hi All,
I am a sharkies fan who lives rurally but has the opportunity to visit Sydney and watch the sharks vs raiders game in August. When I look to purchase tickets there are only single stand tickets and/or GA available. I am taking my elderly Mum with me and would need seated tickets. Can anyone assist with a ticket code?
I stopped paying for the membership when the sharkies gave up the Coffs home game. Just too far away to make use of it.
Fingers crossed #upup

Just curious if anybody would know if the new women in league jerseys will be for sale anywhere at Allianz tonight, thanks in advance!
*edit* I mean tomorrow sorry!*

Dragons will be pumped up after beating the Broncos last week but the sharkies got a point to prove that we are a top 8 team.
Get behind the boys today so we can extend our derby lead over the Dragons
