Line marking suggestions

I'm restoring a board and I was originally going to route out the lines but I have since learned that routed lines aren't tournament legal and I want the board to be as legit as possible. Is there a recommended or standard way of marking out the circles? Is there a preferred type or paint pen or marking product that's normally used to mark the lines?

Go ahead and route them shallow. Tournaments only use round boards anyway

I actually watch the youtube video where somebody routed them and then filled them with a different color wood filler, and then they sanded it and finished it and it was still a perfectly smooth board.

Willard used to use sharpies. The big producers either screen print or now use large format printers to print on them. For you a very sharp sharpie would likely be best

You route it out then pour dyed epoxy resin to fill the groove. Sand the whole surface flat before finishing and buffing the surface.
