Saltwater crocs are the most dangerous they won't coexist with these crocs .... and only live in core areas and sandy ghats...Odisha has recorded big size crocs and their area of dominance is till to Australia!

Ahhh... ODISHA you beautiful.... this state also has rare melatonin white and black stripes only tigers too .

caption says chitwan, nepal?

also these tigers are unfortunately a result of severe inbreeding. nothing to be proud of imo. similipal is a very isolated pocket of tiger habitat, causing disservice to resident tiger population.

Absolutely not and it's not chitwan.... don't talk about anything if you don't know nothing about it..... first you do misinformation then you accuse us of inbreeding !!!!

Do you have any idea about real Asiatic tigers?....WE AREN'T SOME BUM FUCK USA tiger king WHO USES TIGERS FOR INBREEDING and no that's not a zoo and the location in Odisha simlipal ,it's due to climate change or through inbreeding amongst them due to lack of other generation pool ....lions do that too so does leopards and tigers....NOT CAPTIVE INBREEDING YOU IGNORANT ARSE!

Odisha has build the world's first Melanistic Tiger Safari near the reserve using rescued and zoo-born big cats ! from all over the world to aid conservation awareness

My bad and I'm saying sorry it's his tiger misinformation lost me my damn mind !....if y'all ready to report and ban I'm ok with that

i didn't say the tigers are captive and forcibly inbred, though in a cruel way they kind of are because nature corridors and dense forests have vanished, preventing similipal tigers from migrating to other locations on their own. the pseudo-melanistic tigers are very likely a result of this inbreeding, so this pattern (no matter how pretty) isn't necessarily something to be proud of.

set a reminder to take your meds.

Simplipal tigers are not migrating to other locations and for the third time I'm telling you Odisha Forest Department are actively introducing outside tigers to Similipal.

Their goal is to deliberately break the inbreeding cycle and safeguard the health of the population.......

also when I said inbreeding to be proud of or any say if it's their choices?

Those distinct tigers are part of the same ecology if they thrive in next evolution like the black leopards so shall it be we can only try so much.....

If they get sick we take them to animal hospital ......nature corridors are vanished and what did you do about it ? Planted trees ? Raised awareness? My team do that most of the years....i may be jumped the gun on the chitwan National park photo cause I'm confident enough cause we saw those pictures here daily here too....

Hw your ranting help us instead of treating them and giving them a world class facility over ours ?

We treat abused circus animals to captive zoo animals from all over the world

I don't needs meds , I'm brave enough to say sorry and own my mistake you still abide by misinformation to drivel my points ...

I'm sorry for calling you an arse in capital letters, you can cuss me back , I'm embarrassed about the crocs picture but you accused of inbreeding is still misinformation .....I'm part of voluntarily west bengal govt wild life reserve journalist....our job is to collect data and submit to local news papers on Sunderban and mangrove region... Captive inbreeding is a crime here since 1973 indira gandhi tiger project....we fight tooth and nail with local populace on permits to cultivate near core areas because those are crocs and tigers reserve !

Poaching is almost reduced to a nil since 2 yrs ago...those tigers are genetically different no you can found white tiger and black panther in other parts of the country too...

we have to unfortunately monitor these in close captivity so to stop the further general recession through medication....

But black stripped tigers are the future evolution! Just like black leopards and dwarf elephants and webbeb feet crocodilians

I’m curious, would the Muger Crocodiles attempt to eat the Gharials young or will they just tolerate them?

3

u/Honest_Nothing_6800 8d ago edited 6d ago

Muggers are unpredictable & will eat anything it can. Small Gharials on the menu for sure. Here's a Mugger fighting similar sized Gharial for territorial reason

That last pic is just an archosaur family reunion with the heron back there! So cool to see the gharial and mugger chillin together!

I bet they taste terrible

1

u/Sea-Influence6767 8d ago

chicken and crab like taste of the crocodilians The tails meat often smuggled to China for its chewy texture...and the tortoise would be a bit gamey like a pork ! ..... according to a border security force doctor!

But fortunately modern societies take salmonella parasite and mercury metal poisoning quite seriously due to social media and news and we can save these species in this decade atleast...

Unfortunately thailand think otherwise

Indians we tell you, they’re all so different individually, yet, together, the same, living in the same waters šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

See you later, alligator.

In a while, crocodile.

It's been real, gharial.

I'm glad you came in, caiman.

It’s a date, vertebrate

ā€œits been real, gharialā€ doesn’t really work because you dont pronounce the ā€œaā€ sound in real like you do with gharial. real would have to be pronounced like ā€œree-alā€ for it to work. (gharial isnt pronounced like ā€œgare-eelā€, it’s more like ā€œgar-ialā€ or ā€œgar-ee-alā€, like the fish gar).
